Albany State is coming off a huge 32-7 win over Clark Atlanta University last week. The Rams’ dominance over the Panthers wasn’t limited to its last game. Albany State has now won five in a row against Clark Atlanta, and the Rams are 44-7 all-time against the Panthers. Clark Atlanta only scored late in the second quarter. The Rams were only up 13-7 at the half though, but Albany State dominated in the second half pitching a shutout the rest of the way. ASU outgained CAU 405 to 234, and the Rams dominated on the ground with 253 rushing yards. Aljhanod Thomas rushed for 105 yards to lead Albany State, while Tiant Wyche went for 102 with a touchdown. Expect even more from the Rams today against Tuskegee.

The Golden Tigers were looking good early in their last game, but ultimately fell to Morehouse in the 89th playing of their historic rivalry game. It was the first loss for Tuskegee against Morehouse since 2021. The Golden Tigers took a 17-0 lead into the second quarter, but Tuskegee could only score three points in the second half letting Morehouse complete the comeback in the fourth quarter. The Golden Tigers were led by QB Bryson McGrew who had 300 of the team’s 382 total yards. Tuskegee will likely need to diversify its offense drastically to pull off this upset.
