LSU goes for its third straight win on Saturday afternoon when it hosts UCLA
The LSU Tigers welcome the UCLA Bruins to town on Saturday afternoon in a non-conference battle. The Tigers come into Saturday on a two-game winning streak and looking to move to 3-1 on the season. The Tigers got tripped up in their first game against USC 27-20, but have beat Nicholls and South Carolina over the last two weeks. It wasn’t easy last week, though, as they trailed the Gamecocks by 14 in the first half and then were still down late in the fourth quarter. They were able to get a two-yard touchdown run by Josh Williams with 1:12 left to get the comeback win. The victory moved them to 2-1 on the year and 1-0 in the SEC. Saturday they step back out of the conference and look to get past a struggling Bruins team.

The Bruins come to town just 1-1 on the season, but that one win was a three-point victory over Hawaii. They then had a bye and went back home and got whipped by Indiana 42-13 last weekend.
It was their first ever Big Ten conference game and it did not go well. They struggled to stop the suddenly capable Hoosiers offense and were never really in the game.
It doesn’t get any easier for the Bruins as their game against the Tigers is the first of three straight against ranked opponents. They will play No. 9 Oregon at home next weekend and then travel to No. 10 Penn State in two weeks.
