Nol. 16 Utah looks to bounce back from a surprising loss as the Utes face off against another Grand Canyon State team in Arizona State on Friday. Utah was flying high with a 4-0 record until last week when the offense was quickly shut down losing to Arizona 23-10. Utah was a 7.5-point favorite at home but they were only able to score one touchdown late in the fourth quarter despite slightly outgaining the Wildcats in yardage. The Utes were held to just a field goal in the first half. The Arizona defense was the star of the show as they stopped then No. 10 Utah four times on fourth down. Noah Fifita did just enough to win throwing 197 yards for two touchdowns for the Wildcats. That was juxtaposed by an off night for Isaac Wilson. He threw for 280 yards and a touchdown for Utah but was 20/40 on the night with two picks.

Arizona State will not be an easy out by any stretch especially at home considering it has the same 4-1 record. The Sun Devils are coming off a big bounce-back win beating Kansas 35-31 last week. Sam Leavitt was absolutely tremendous for ASU throwing four touchdowns to just one interception. His final touchdown on a come-from-behind drive with just 16 seconds left to Jordyn Tyson to win the game. Utah is the favorite coming in but ASU could easily knock down the Utes in Arizona for the second straight week and should not be underestimated.
