The Vanderbilt Commodores go for their second straight win on Saturday night when they visit the Kentucky Wildcats. The Commodores snapped a two-game losing steak last Saturday when they shocked top-ranked Alabama 40-35. It was the first ever win for the Commodores over a top-ranked team and was one of the biggest upsets in SEC history. The Commodores never trailed in the game and used a big first half to carry them to the upset. They were led by quarterback Diego Pavia who threw for 252 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for 56 yards. Sedrick Alexander led the team with 64 yards on the ground and two touchdowns. It was an incredible win for the Commodores and one they are looking to build off of. Saturday they will look to get another big win over Kentucky and get over .500 in conference play.

The Wildcats, though, are looking to bring the Commodores back down to Earth as they try and win a third straight game.

The Wildcats had a bye last week and are coming a huge upset of their own. They went to sixth-ranked Ole Miss two weeks ago and won 20-17. The win was their second in a row and improved their record to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in the SEC.

The Wildcats nearly upset No. 1 Georgia earlier this year and like the Commodores have shown that they can play with some of the best teams in the conference.
