The Washington State Cougars hit the road on Saturday night to take on the New Mexico Lobos. The Cougars come into Saturday 8-1 on the season and on a four-game winning streak. Their lone loss came against Boise State back on September 28th, but they have been perfect since in beating Fresno State, Hawaii, San Diego State and Utah State. Last week they whipped the Aggies 49-28 as John Mateer threw for 179 yards and four touchdowns. Wayshawn Parker was good on the ground as he rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns. Kyle Williams caught five passes for 55 yards and three of them went for touchdowns in the win. Mateer has now thrown for 2,332 yards and 22 touchdowns on the season and is also the team’s leading rusher with 630 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground.
