Most recently, Richmond held on in the second half for a 24-21 victory over Hampton to secure a second-straight CAA title and an automatic bid to the FCS playoffs. Zach Palmer-Smith rushed for his fourth 100-yard rushing performance with 166 yards and two scores. He’s the Spiders’ first 1,000-yard rusher since the 2015 season. 

As for William & Mary, the Tribe took care of business on Senior Day in a 22-12 victory over Bryant last week at Zable Stadium. The Tribe got a 62-yard touchdown run by Malachi Imoh in the fourth quarter to secure the win with a goal-line stand by the defense also playing a role.
