After a last-second win over the weekend, Loyola (Md.) hosts American in Patriot League play on Monday.
Both American and Loyola (Md.) are trying to get back to .500 with a win on Monday night. American is 8-9 and Loyola is 7-8 and the Greyhounds will be happy to be hosting this matchup. Loyola is 4-2 at home compared to 3-6 on the road. This is not fortuitous for American though as the Eagles have yet to win a game on the road this season with a 0-8 record. That is compared to a 5-1 record at home and a 3-0 record on a neutral site. Both teams are coming off a win though. The Eagles beat Bucknell in Washington, D.C. on Saturday by a 68-58 final to go 2-2 in Patriot League play.
