The loss snapped a 14-game winning streak and was their first setback in the SEC this season. The Tigers now sit at 21-2 overall and 9-1 in conference play. The Tigers have played like the best team in the country, but went down by 10 in the first half to Florida and could never recover.

The game on Tuesday is the first of two straight on the road that will also see them travel to rival Alabama on Saturday. First, though, they will need to get by a pesky Commodores team on Tuesday night. The Tigers have been led by Johni Broome, who is averaging a double-double. He is scoring 18.1 points and 10.9 rebounds per game. Chad Baker-Mazara is second in scoring at 12.7 points per game. Tahaad Pettiford, Miles Kelly and Denver Jones are also scoring in double figures for the Tigers.

The Commodores have shown they can upset teams this year, as they own wins over No. 6 Tennessee, No. 9 Kentucky and Texas.

The win over the Longhorns came on Saturday and snapped a two-game losing streak. The win pushed their record to 17-6 overall and 5-5 in the SEC.

They have been led by Jason Edwards, who is scoring 17.6 points per game. Devin McGlockton is second in scoring at 11.3 points per game, while also leading the team with 7.9 rebounds per game.
