The Butler Bulldogs take on the Austin Peay Governors on Friday night looking to win a second straight game. The Bulldogs shook off a pesky Missouri State team on Monday night to get a 72-65 win in their season opener. The Bulldogs were led by Jahmyl Telfort who who scored a game-high 29 points. He shot 7-12 from the field and 4-6 from deep. He also got to the foul line a bunch as he went 11-16 from the charity stripe. Pierre Brooks II and Patrick McCaffrey added 13 and 11 points respectively to help the Bulldogs get their first win of the year. Brooks II and McCaffrey are both transfers from Big Ten schools as they came from Michigan State and Iowa. The Bulldogs are hoping they can help them get back to the top of the A10 this year.

The Governors will be looking to slow down the trio as they try and come to Hinkle Fieldhouse and pick up an upset win.
The Governors got a win in their first game against Union on Monday night. They raced out to a 14-point halftime lead over Union and then cruised to a victory.
They had five guys score in double figures on Monday in the win and they were led by senior Isaac Haney who scored a game-high 19 points. Haney hit two three-pointers and went a perfect 9-9 from the foul line in the win.
