The No. 4-seeded Broncos are 24-9 overall this season and finished with a 14-6 record against teams in the conference. As a potential bubble team in the NCAA Tournament, they are looking to secure their ticket to the big dance with an automatic bid and a conference championship.

They started their tournament run in the quarterfinals with a matchup against the team they tied with, San Diego State, and won that game by 10 points, 62-52. Alvaro Cardenas led the team with 16 points and a team-high of four assists. In the semifinals, they took on the top seed in the conference, New Mexico, and won by three points. Tyson Degenhart, the team’s top scorer, dropped 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting.
The No. 2-seeded Rams are 24-9 overall as well and finish the regular season in the conference with a 16-4 record. They took on Boise State in the regular season finalé and won by 10 points before starting their tournament play in the quarterfinals. They matched up with Nevada to start the MWC tournament and won by eight points.
Nique Clifford dropped a game-high 25 points on 8-of-14 shooting with a team-high 14 rebounds. Advancing to the semifinals, they took on Utah State and won by 11 points, 83-72. Clifford again dropped a game-high 26 points in that win. He also had 11 rebounds and six assists in the semifinals. Kyan Evans and Jalen Lake had 14 points as well.
