The No. 4-seeded San Diego State will take on the No. 5-seeded Boise State in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Championship tournament on Thursday night at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The San Diego State Aztecs finished their season with a 21-8 record overall and a 14-6 record against conference teams. They ended tied with their opponent in conference games, winning the tiebreaker for the higher seed. They closed out their season with a win on Saturday against Nevada by 19 points.
