With the home team dropping four of its last five games heading into this weekend’s ACC matchup, Syracuse hosts conference foe Boston College at JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday. After falling to No. 2 Duke earlier this week, Syracuse has hit a rough stretch with losses in four of its last five games. The Orange are now 10-13 overall with a 4-8 record in conference play and an 8-5 pace at home this season. Boston College, on the other hand, is in a similar boat with a 10-12 overall record and a 2-9 conference record and a 0-5 mark on the road. The Orange hold a 59-27 advantage in the series history with a 79-71 victory over Boston College last month.

Most recently, Syracuse couldn’t keep pace with No. 2 Duke in an 83-54 loss to the Blue Devils at the JMA Wireless Dome on Wednesday night. Duke freshman Cooper Flagg finished the game with 11 points while Jyare Davis and J.J. Starling had 12 points each in the loss for Syracuse. 

As for Boston College, the Eagles also fell in a lopsided loss to Louisville by a final score of 84-58 in Chestnut Hill on Wednesday night. Donald Hand Jr. led the way for the Eagles with a team-high 19 points while Fred Payne added nine points in the loss for Boston College. 

Syracuse looks to get its season back on track against Boston College on Saturday.
