Clemson looks to continue its strong ACC start when it visits slumping Pitt on Saturday afternoon
Clemson (14-4) has won its last two games and is 6-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference play and on Saturday visits Pitt (12-5) at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh. The Panthers have lost three straight to fall to 3-3 in the ACC and are 9-1 at home this season, taking their first homecourt defeat on Jan. 11. The Tigers reached the Elite Eight last spring for just the second time in program history while Pitt declined an NIT bid last season after making the NCAA tournament in 2023.

Clemson rode a strong first half to a 70-59 win at Georgia Tech on Tuesday night. Jaeden Zackery led the way with 21 points while Ian Schieffelin tossed in 16. Chase Hunter scores 17.4 points per game while Schieffelin averages 12.9 points and 10.1 rebounds.
The Panthers shot just 37.5% and committed 17 turnovers on Wednesday in an 82-70 loss at Florida State. Jaland Rowe scored 22 points but also had eight turnovers while Jorge Diaz Graham came off the bench for 17 points. Rowe averages 17.5 points and 5.9 assists, Ishmael Leggett gets 16.5 points per game and Cameron Corhen posts 10.4 points and 5.9 rebounds a night.
The Tigers are 12-3 all-time against Pitt and have won the last 12 meetings, including a pair of wins last season. Clemson took a 79-70 road victory on Dec. 3, 2023, before getting a 69-62 win at home on Feb. 27. Brad Brownell is 278-193 in his 15th season with the Tigers while Jeff Capel has a 109-97 mark in his seventh year at Pitt.
