Chase Hunter didn’t hit a game-winner, but he had a few clutch buckets in the final stretch of the game to boost Clemson to the win. Hunter led the team with 21 points and four rebounds. His backcourt mate Jaeden Zackery had 11 points, as they were the only two players in double figures for the team. Ian Schieffelin had nine points and 12 rebounds in the win.

The No. 2-seeded Cardinals are just one game behind their opponent overall with a 26-6 record, and they ended tied in the conference with an 18-2 record. Similarly to Clemson, with a top-four seeding, they didn’t have to open the tournament until the quarterfinal round, where they met Stanford. They won the game 75-73 on the back of Chucky Hepburn.

With the game tied 73-73, Hepburn hit a game-winning put-back foul-line jumper to walk off the court. Terrence Edwards Jr led the team as a whole, though with 25 points on 9-of-14 shooting. Hepburn finished with 20 points, while Noah Waterman and James Scott both finished with 12 points yesterday. The winner of this game will head to the ACC championship game.
