The team’s only conference win came on Saturday against Fresno State in an exciting 72-69 overtime victory. Will Cooper came off the bench to lead the Falcons’ offense, scoring 21 points in the win. Luke Kearney and Jeffrey Mills also finished in double figures with 19 and 13 points, respectively. On the boards, Ethan Taylor led, pulling down eight rebounds to go along with seven points.

The Rams bring a three-game win streak into Tuesday night’s contest which brings their overall record to 18-9 and their conference record to 12-4 which puts them in third place in the Mountain West standings. Over the weekend, the team traveled to Las Vegas to play UNLV, winning in a 61-53 victory. Nique Clifford and Kyan Evans each finished the game with 14 points to lead the team offensively while Jaylen Crocker-Johnson rounded out the double digit scorers with 10 points. Clifford also led the team on the boards with 14 rebounds, 13 of which were defensive, to earn a double-double in the win.

Colorado State and Air Force have a storied history, playing each other a total of 124 times since 1957. The Rams hold a commanding 90-34 lead in the series and have won the last four games with the most recent being a 79-58 win earlier this season.
