The Buffaloes finished in last place in the Big 12 with a 3-17 record, but they have knocked off TCU and West Virginia to make the quarterfinals. They snapped a three-game losing streak with a win over TCU in their last regular season game and they have stayed hot in the conference tournament.

On Wednesday, they needed to battle back from a six-point halftime deficit to the Mountaineers to get the win. They didn’t take the lead until just under seven minutes in the game before finally coming away with the seven-point win.

The Buffaloes have struggled to score at times this season, as they are averaging just 70.1 points per game.

Julian Hammond III is the only player averaging in double figures at 12.7 points per game. Trevor Baskin is the team’s top rebounder at 5.0 boards per game.
