    They won that game 78-57 on the back of the Big East Player of the Year RJ Luis Jr.’s 20 points while Kadary Richmond led the team with eight rebounds and nine assists. They moved on to the semifinals, taking on the nationally ranked No. 25 Marquette and winning soundly 79-63. Zuby Ejiofor had a massive game with 33 points on 11-of-15 shooting, while Richmond again posted 10 rebounds and six assists, both team-highs.

    The No. 2-seeded Bluejays are 24-9 overall this season and finished 15-5 in the Big East, just one game above UConn. Projected to be much better this season, they started their tournament run in the quarterfinals with a matchup against DePaul. It took everything they had to win that game, dropping DePaul 85-81 after double overtime.

    Ryan Kalkbrenner, the former AP All-American, had 32 points on 14-of-21 shooting and nine rebounds in the win. In the semifinals yesterday, Creighton matched up with UConn, winning by nine points 71-62. This time, Jamiya Neal led the team and the game with 19 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Jasen Green also had 19 points.
