The Georgetown Hoyas look to get back over .500 in the Big East on Friday niight when they take on the DePaul Blue Demons. The Hoyas come into Friday night on a three-game losing streak after starting out Big East play with three straight wins. The Hoyas now sit at 3-3 in the Big East and 12-5 overall. They Hoyas had won 10 of 11 games before their three game slide and are looking to get back on track with a win on Friday night. It has been a tough three games for the Hoyas, but they have been competitive as they to No. 8 Marquette and No. 9 UConn by nine points each and then fell to St. John’s on the road by five. The Hoyas have been led by Thomas Sorber who is averaging a team-best 14.2 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. Micah Peavy, Malik Mack and Jayden Epps are also averaging double figures on the season.

The Blue Demons are looking to come to town and pick up their first Big East win of the season. They have dropped their first seven conference games and have lost nine of their last 11 games. They had a great start to the season as they won their first seven games, but they have struggled since.

They have gotten close to snapping of their funk as they lost to both Seton Hall and No. 7 Marquette in overtime. The loss to the Golden Eagles was a tough one as they led by one with 45 seconds left, but they couldn’t finish it off and came up just short.
