Oakland is coming off a solid road win beating conference rival IU Indy 82-67 on Wednesday. The win helped the Golden Grizzlies avoid losing three in a row. Nassim Mashhour was a huge reason for the turnaround scoring a career-high 18 points. Buru Naivalurua had a strong game for Oakland with a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. The big reason Oakland was though was because of its suffocating defense holding the Jaguars to just 33.8 percent shooting compared to the Golden Grizzlies’ prolific 54.7 percentage.

Detroit Mercy is coming off a big 90-67 loss against Purdue Fort Wayne on the road on Tuesday. The Titans need to get healthy and fast to have any chance of an upset on the road today.
