With both teams attempting to snap multi-game losing streaks in Chestnut Hill this weekend, Boston College hosts conference rival Florida State at Conte Forum on Saturday. The Eagles have lost six-straight games to drop to 9-11 overall with an 1-8 conference record and a 6-5 record at home this season. Boston College has had a tough schedule as of late, with losses against North Carolina and No. 2 Duke in their recent losing skid. Florida State, on the other hand, has lost three games in a row to fall to 13-8 overall with a 4-6 mark in ACC play and a 1-5 road record. Florida State has won two consecutive games over BC to pull ahead in the series (12-11), including an 84-76 victory over the Eagles last February.

Most recently, Boston College fell on the road in Chapel Hill to North Carolina in a 102-96 loss to the Tar Heels last Saturday. Donald Hand Jr. had a game-high 26 points and Dion Brown poured in a season-best 20 points in the overtime loss for the Eagles, who gave the Heels all they could handle. 

As for Florida State, the Seminoles fell at home to Virginia Tech in a 76-66 loss at the Tucker Center earlier this week. Taylor Bol Bowen led the Seminoles with a team-high 14 points, nine rebounds, one steal and a blocked shot. Jerry Deng also added 13 points in the loss. 

Boston College will now host conference foe Florida State in Chestnut Hill on Saturday.
