The Fresno State Bulldogs will take a road trip on Tuesday to take on the San Diego State Aztecs in a Mountain West matchup at Viejas Arena. The Bulldogs have struggled this season and are currently in 10th place in the Mountain West standings with a conference record of 1-14 and an overall record of 5-21. The team has lost its last eight games with the most recent being a close 52-51 defeat be UNLV on Saturday. Elijah Price scored a game-high 15 points to lead the Bulldogs offensively, but he was the only player to make it into double digits. Price also led on the boards with 12 rebounds to earn a double-double in the loss. The Bulldogs shot just 30 percent from both the field and from long range and went 11-for-16 from the foul line.

The Aztecs are currently sitting in third place in the Mountain West table with a record of 10-4 against conference opponents and 17-6 overall. The team has won two games in a row, the most recent being a 64-47 victory over Boise State on Saturday at home in front of 12,000 fans. Nick Boyd scored a game-high 24 points against the Broncos and Miles Byrd and Wayne McKinney III each added 10 points to the scoreboard. Magoon Gwath and Boyd each pulled down six rebounds to lead the Aztecs in rebounding. The Aztecs shot well against the Broncos, finishing at 54 percent from the field and 41 percent from beyond the arc.

Fresno State and San Diego State have met a total of 48 times in their history and the series is all tied up at 24-24. The teams have already met once this season and the Aztecs won handily in an 84-62 victory.
