George Mason looks to extend its win streak to 10 games on Tuesday in college basketball when the team travels to take on Saint Louis.

The Saint Louis Billikens will host the George Mason Patriots on Tuesday night in an Atlantic 10 battle in college basketball. The Billikens are currently in third place in the A-10 standings with a conference record of 7-4 and an overall record of 14-10. The team will look to put a stop to the conference-leading Patriots’ nine-game win streak in front of a home crowd, but will need to bounce back from 76-63 loss to Saint Joseph’s on Friday to do so. Against the Hawks, the team only trailed by two at halftime, but a big second half for Saint Joe’s forced the Billikens to walk away empty-handed. Kobe Johnson led the Saint Louis offense with 21 points and Kalu Anya added 11 points to the scoreboard. Robbie Avila and Isaiah Swope each pulled down five rebounds to lead on the boards.

The Patriots got off to a strong start in conference play and have continued that way, losing only to Rhode Island by three points back in early January. The team has gone on to win nine straight with the most recent being a win over none other than the Rhode Island Rams on Saturday in a big 82-67 victory at home. Darius Maddox powered the George Mason offense, finished the game with 24 points. He was joined in double figures by Jalen Haynes and Justin Begg who scored 16 and 12 points, respectively. The team shot an impressive 58 percent from the field and 52 percent from beyond the arc, but struggled at the line, going 7-for-12.

George Mason and Saint Louis have met a total of 16 times since the Patriots joined the Atlantic 10 Conference and the Billikens hold an 11-5 lead in the series. The teams last met during conference play last year and the game resulted in a 79-67 victory for the Patriots at home.
