They lost their first game of the season to Arizona State by 11 points in the Hall of Fame Series in Phoenix. They made it two straight when they lost at home to UC Davis in the next game.

They ended the month with two straight wins, beating Norfolk State on a 20-point performance from Tyon Grant-Foster. In their last game, they took down Stanford in the Acrisure Holiday Invitational by seven points, led by 15 points from Collin Moore. Grant-Foster, an NBA prospect, averages 16.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game in four games this season.

The Rainbow Warriors are 5-1 overall this season, losing their only game to the No. 20-ranked North Carolina when they came to Hawai’i for the Maui Invitational. Outside of that game, they opened up their season with three wins in the Rainbow Classic beating Life Pacific , San José State, and Pacific in three straight games.

They beat Weber State at home before their loss and Hawai’i Pacific after their loss. Tanner Christensen has been the standout senior for the team this season in his first year in Hawai’i. He is averaging a team-high 14.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. He also chips in 1.0 assists and 1.0 blocks per game.
