Colonial Athletic play continues on Thursday with a game between Hofstra and William & Mary as the teams look to move up in the standings.

The Hofstra Pride will take a trip to Virginia on Thursday to play the William & Mary Tribe in a Colonial Athletic matchup at Kaplan Arena. The Pride is currently in 12th place in the conference standings with a CAA record of 4-8 and an overall record of 12-13. The team is on a three-game losing streak after dropping an 80-75 game to Stony Brook on Saturday at home. Cruz Davis led the Hofstra offense with a 24-point performance while Jean Aranguren and Michael Graham joined him in double figures with 17 and 13 points, respectively, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Seawolves at bay. Graham also pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds to earn a double-double in the loss as 3800 fans looked on.

The Tribe also brings a losing streak into Thursday night’s game after dropping their second game in a row on Saturday in a 74-64 defeat by Delaware. The team is now in fifth place in the standings with a conference record of 8-4 and an overall record of 14-11. Against the Fightin’ Blue Hens, Gabe Dorsey scored a team-high 19 points and was joined in double figures by Chase Lowe who came off the bench to score 12 points and Kyle Pulliam who added 10 to the scoreboard. The team struggled to find a rhythm against Delaware, shooting just 33 percent from the field and 29 percent from long range. The Tribe will look to use their undefeated home record of 10-0 to their favor on Thursday night to break their losing streak and get back in the win column.

William & Mary and Hofstra have met a total of 45 times in their history and the Pride hold a 29-16 advantage in the all-time series. The Tribe picked up the last win, however, playing to a 75-56 victory in January.
