Houston and Duke hit the court on Saturday night in the second Final Four game of the Men’s NCAA Tournament

The Houston Cougars and Duke Blue Devils play with a berth in the national championship game on the line. The Cougars and Blue Devils are both top seeds in the tournament and part of the first Final Four with all four number one seeds since 2008 and just second overall. The Blue Devils have looked great on their way to the Final Four. They have won three of their four tournament games by at least 20 points. In their other game they beat Arizona 100-93. The Blue Devils have now won 15 games in a row and currently sit at 35-3. The Blue Devils have been led by Cooper Flagg who is scoring at 18.9 points per game. Flagg is also leading the team in rebounding at 7.6 boards per game. Kon Knueppel has also been good as he is averaging 14.4 points per game and he is coming off a 21 point game against Alabama in the Elite Eight. Tyrese Proctor is also averaging in double figures at 12.5 points per game.

The Cougars have been great on defense this year, but they are going to have to be at their best to get by the powerful Blue Devils.

The Cougars have given up 60 or less points in three of their four tournament games. They put the clamps down on Tennessee in the Elite Eight as they won 69-50.

They nearly didn’t make it to the Elite Eight, though, as they needed a last second shot to beat Purdue 62-60.
