Big Ten basketball play continues Sunday with a game between Indiana and Penn State in Philadelphia.

On Sunday afternoon, the Indiana Hoosiers and the Penn State Nittany Lions will both take a road trip to Philadelphia for a Big Ten matchup at the historic Palestra. The Hoosiers come into Sunday’s conference contest with an overall record of 11-3 and a conference record of 2-1 which puts them in a four-way tie for third place in the Big Ten standings. The team is on a three-game win streak with the most recent being an 84-74 win over Rutgers on Thursday at home. The Scarlet Knights’ Ace Bailey turned in a 39-point performance, but the Hoosiers shut down the rest of the team to earn the win. Myles Rice led Indiana in scoring with 21 points and Oumar Ballo earned a double-double by adding 17 points to the scoreboard and pulling down a team-leading 12 rebounds in the win.

The Nittany Lions are one of the three teams involved in the four-way tie for third place in the Big Ten standings with a conference record of 2-1. The team is currently 12-2 overall and is on a four-game win streak after beating Northwestern in a narrow 84-80 victory on Thursday. Zach Hicks led all scorers with 20 points while three other Nittany Lions joined him in double figures. Ace Baldwin Jr. turned in a 17-point performance while Puff Johnson finished the game with 11 points and Freddie Dilione V tacked on 10 points. Yanic Konan Niederhauser narrowly missed a double-double by leading the team on the boards with nine rebounds and scoring nine points.

Indiana and Penn State have a storied history and the Hoosiers lead the all-time series 43-17 with the most recent meeting taking place last season which resulted in a narrow 61-59 victory for the Hoosiers.
