Iowa State goes for its 12th straight win on Wednesday night when it takes on Kansas in a Big 12 college basketball battle.

The Iowa State Cyclones welcome the Kansas Jayhawks to town on Wednesday night in a huge conference battle. The Cyclones come into Wednesday on an 11-game winning steak and a perfect 4-0 in the Big 12. They have just one loss on the season and that came against then No. 4 Auburn on a neutral site. Since that loss they have bene great, but they were tested on Saturday as they needed overtime to slip by Texas Tech. It was jut their third win by single digits this season as they have been dominant all year long. Curtis Jones was great in the game as he scored 26 points to help the Cyclones pull out the victory. Jones is now averaging a team-best 17.3 points per game. He is one of five players averaging double figures for the Cyclones. Joshua Jefferson is the team’s top rebounder at 7.9 boards per game while also averaging 12.0 points per game.

The Jayhawks will look to slow down the streaking Cyclones as they try and win a fourth straight game.

They were shocked by West Virginia at home in their first Big 12 game, but have bounced back to beat UCF, Arizona State and Cincinnati. They now sit at 12-3 overall and 3-1 in the Big 12.

The Jayhawks lost their first two true road games against Creighton and Missouri, but have won their last two road games. They will need to be even better on Wednesday if they want to make it three in a row.

The Jayhawks have been led by Hunter Dickinson who is averaging a double-double with 15.8 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. Zeke Mayo is the only other player averaging double figures at 14.3 points per game.
