Le Moyne will take a trip to New Jersey on Thursday for a Northeast matchup with Fairleigh Dickinson in college basketball action.

The Fairleigh Dickinson Knights will welcome the Le Moyne Dolphins to the Bogota Savings Bank Center on Thursday night for an NEC contest in college basketball. The Dolphins are just one game out of last place in the Northeast Conference standings with a record of 2-4 against conference opponents and an overall record of 7-14. The team’s last time on the court took place on Friday night at home against Central Connecticut State and resulted in a tough 93-70 loss. AJ Dancler led the Dolphins offensively with 18 points, while Robby Carmody and Ocypher Owens joined him in double figures with 15 and 10 points, respectively. Dancler also led the team on the boards with seven rebounds. The team shot 40 percent from the field and 36 percent from long range, but it wasn’t enough to compete with the Blue Devils.

The Knights are sitting in third place in the NEC standings with a conference record of 4-2 and an overall record of 8-13. The team traveled to Massachusetts on Sunday for a game against Stonhill, which resulted in a 65-54 victory, the team’s second win in a row. Terrence Brown was the only Knight in double figures, leading with 25 points, but it was enough to get the job done. He also led the rebounding efforts with 10, nine of which were defensive, to earn a double-double in what ended up being the Knights’ fourth road win of the season. Every player on the FDU roster got time in the game and all but one put points on the board, as the Knights finished the game shooting 46 percent from the field and 30 percent from beyond the arc.

Fairleigh Dickinson and Le Moyne have only met four times in their history and the series is tied up at 2-2. The teams have already met once this season and the game went in the Knights’ favor with a 91-86 double overtime win on the road.
