Louisville goes for its fourth win in a row when it travels to take on its conference rival in Notre Dame on Sunday night.

One of the biggest matchups this Sunday will arrive in the ACC when Notre Dame hosts Louisville. The Cardinals will be the 6.5-points favorites even on the road tonight and are going for their fourth win in a row. Louisville is 19-6 overall and have an even better conference record at 12-2. The Cards have also held their own on the road with a 7-3 record and will be an a very tough out for the home team Fighting Irish. Notre Dame is 11-13 overall and 5-8 in conference play. The good news for the team is that they are 8-3 at home and have momentum coming off a double-overtime win against Boston College that ended a three-game losing streak. Including this matchup, Notre Dame will be home for three more games.

The Irish won 97-94 against Boston College on Wednesday in thrilling fashion. Kebba Njie hit the go-ahead bucket with just 16 seconds left in the second overtime. Markus Burton led the way for Notre Dame with a game-high and a career-high 32 points. It was a tremendous comeback for the Fighting Irish after they were down 14 points in the second half. Notre Dame tied it three times in the last two minutes and just kept refusing to quit. They’ll need that mentality once again and the home crowd should help tonight to try to pull of this upset.

Louisville is coming off a commanding 91-66 win over NC State on Wednesday. It seemed like the Cardinals couldn’t miss against the Wolfpack shooting 63.6 percent from the field. It is the first time in five years that Louisville shot more than 60 percent in a game. There were four players who scored 15 or more points with Terrence Edwards Jr. and Reyne Smith who scored a team-high 21 points. It was the fifth time that the Cardinals collected a win of 20 points or more. That had never happened before in this illustrious program’s history. Look for the Cards to keep up this crushing momentum.
