In Pennsylvania, they will face off with Pittsburgh at the Peterson Events Center. The Pittsburgh Panthers (12-3, 3-1) lost their first conference game of the season earlier this week against the No. 4-ranked Duke, the best team in the conference. They opened up 2025 with a win at home over California, 86-74 led by a 27-point performance from Jaland Lowe.

They followed it up with a win at home against Stanford by 15 points, led by a 21-point performance from Ishmael Leggett. Both of those were before the team went on the road and lost to Duke only scoring 47 points in the loss. Leggett leads Pitt in scoring this season, averaging 17.8 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.

The Louisville Cardinals (11-5, 4-1) won their third-straight conference game and of the new year earlier this week with a 10-point win over Clemson, who is now also 4-1 against ACC teams. Previously this month, they beat North Carolina by 13 points at home and Virginia on the road by 20 points over the last week.

Their only loss against an ACC team came against No. 4-ranked Duke, which is Pitt’s only loss as well. They lost by 11 points at the beginning of December; they also took down Florida State at the end of the month. Chucky Hepburn leads Louisville in scoring this season, averaging 15.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game.
