No. 9 seed Creighton will face-off with No. 8 seed Louisville in the first round of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship in the South Region on Thursday afternoon at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. The winner of this game will move on to the Round of 32 to face the winner of No. 1 seed Auburn and the No. 16 seed. The No. 9 seed Bluejays finished 24-10 overall this season and closed out as the runner-up in the Big East Tournament, losing to the No. 2 seed and No. 6 ranked nationally St. John’s in the championship.
