No. 14 Indiana tips off its Battle 4 Atlantis trip against Louisville on Wednesday afternoon in college basketball.

No. 14 Indiana (4-0) leaves the friendly confines of Assembly Hall for the first time this season when it takes on Louisville (3-1) in the opening round of the Battle 4 Atlantis at Imperial Arena on Paradise Island in the Bahamas on Wednesday. The Cardinals are also leaving home for the first time this season as they look for their first postseason bid since the 2019 NCAA tournament. New coach Pat Kelsey took over the program this season after three years and two tournament bids at Charleston. The Hoosiers missed the postseason last spring after two straight March Madness appearances, finishing 19-14. Coach Mike Woodson is 67-40 in his fourth year leading the program he helped to a national championship in 1981.

Indiana arrives off a 69-58 victory over visiting UNC Greensboro on Thursday. Myles Rice finished with 20 points and six assists, Bryson Tucker dropped in 14 points, Oumar Ballo grabbed 11 rebounds and Malik Reneau snared 10 boards. Mackenzie Mgbako scores 18.8 points per game, Rice nets 14.8 points a night, Ballo averages 12.0 points and 9.8 rebounds and Trey Galloway puts up 5.5 points and 5.3 assists an outing.

Louisville beat visiting Winthrop 76-61 on Friday in its final tuneup before heading to the islands. Reyne Smith dropped 20 points off the bench, J’Vonne Hadley went for 12 points and 13 rebounds and James Scott also scored 12 points. Smith knocks down 14.8 points per game and Kasean Pryor averages 12.8 points and 6.5 boards.

The Hoosiers lead the all-time series 12-9 and have won the last two meetings, including a 74-66 victory in the Empire Classic in New York on Nov. 20, 2023.
