Cam Carter led the team with 22 points in the loss. They followed that up earlier this week against Missouri on the road, losing 83-67. Carter led the team with 16 points, three rebounds, and three assists. He is also leading LSU in scoring throughout the season, averaging 17.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.

The Ole Miss Rebels (13-2, 2-0) are off to a hot start in conference play after losing two non-conference games in the first two months of the year. Their schedule is about to get harder so winning games that they should will help in the long run. They took down Georgia at home by 12 points in their first game of conference play led by a 15-point performance from Matthew Murrell.

They went on the road to a sneaky good Arkansas team and won by seven points in Fayetteville. Malik Dia led the team in that win with 21 points and eight rebounds. The former Virginia Tech transfer, Sean Pedulla, leads Ole Miss in scoring, averaging 14.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.3 steals per game, appearing in all 15 games for Ole Miss this season.
