Indiana goes for its third straight win on Friday night when it hosts Miami (OH) in a non-conference matchup in college basketball.

The Indiana Hoosiers welcome the Miami (OH) Redhawks to town on Friday night for a non-conference battle. The Hoosiers come into Friday on a two-game winning streak and fresh off an easy 97-71 win over Sam Houston State. The Hoosiers went to the Bahamas last week and lost to both Louisville and Gonzaga, but won their last game there against Providence. They now sit at 6-2 on the season and will open up Big Ten play on Monday against Minnesota, but first want to avoid an upset on Friday night. The Hoosiers have four players averaging double figures on the season with Mackenzie Mgbako leading the way with 16.8 points per game. Oumar Ballo is leading the team with 8.3 rebounds per game and is also scoring 12.5 points per game.

The Redhawks, though, are looking to come to Bloomington and pick up a huge upset win over the Hoosiers.

They come into Friday on a three-game winning streak, but their last loss came against a Big Ten opponent in Michigan. They lost that game 94-67 despite winning late in the first half.

They then headed to Ft. Myers and won the Palms Division of the Ft. Myers Tip-Off with victories over Siena and Mercer.

They won a third straight game on Monday when they beat Air Force 73-60. Peter Suder has helped the Redhawks to the three straight wins, as he is scoring a team-best 17.4 points per game.
