Michigan goes for its second straight win on Monday night when it hosts Miami (OH) in a non-conference battle.

The Michigan Wolverines welcome the Miami (OH) Redhawks to the Crisler Center on Monday night for a non-conference basketball matchup. The Wolverines come into Monday fresh off a big 76-64 win over TCU on Friday night. The win helped them avoid a second straight loss and improved their record to 2-1 in their first season under Dusty May. The Wolverines had lost a close game to Wake Forest the Sunday before, but they bounced back and never trailed against the Horned Frogs in the win. Nimari Burnett led the Wolverines with 16 points and Yale transfer Danny Wolfe had a double-double to help the Wolverines get the win. Wolfe scored 14 points and added 14 rebounds and he is now averaging 12.3 points and a team-best 9.7 rebounds per game. Tre Donaldson is leading the team scoring 13.3 points per game.

The Redhawks will look to slow Wolfe and the rest of the Wolverines down as they try and come to Ann Arbor and get a big upset win.

The Redhawks come into Monday 2-1 on the season and fresh off an 88-70 win over Maryland Eastern Shore last Tuesday.

They opened their season with a big road win over Appalachian State, but couldn’t make it two in a row as they fell to Wright State 81-68 in their first home game of the season last Saturday.

The Redhawks have been led by Sam Craft who is scoring a team-high 19.0 points per game. He is one of four players scoring in double figures on the season. Antwone Woolfolk is leading the team in rebounding with 7.7 per game and is also adding 10.7 PPG.
