Indiana opens its Big Ten slate at home while visiting Minnesota tries to avoid an 0-2 conference start on Monday.

Indiana (7-2) has won its last three games since dropping back-to-back decisions to open last month’s Battle 4 Atlantis and on Monday night welcomes Minnesota (6-4) to Assembly Hall in Bloomington to open its Big Ten schedule. The Golden Gophers lost their conference opener at home on Wednesday night and is trying to avoid an 0-2 start. The Hoosiers opted out of the postseason last spring after finishing 19-14, with a 10-10 Big Ten mark, after reaching the previous two NCAA tournaments. The Golden Gophers were 19-15 a season ago after bowing out in the second round of the NIT and went 9-11 in conference play. The program’s last invitation to the Big Dance came in 2019.
