The No. 7-seeded Missouri will take on the No. 2-seeded Florida in a quarterfinal matchup in the Southeastern Conference Tournament at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday afternoon. The No. 7-seeded Tigers, who are also the No. 21-ranked team in the nation, are 22-10 overall this year and 10-8 against teams in the SEC. They opened up the conference tournament in the SEC with a game against Mississippi State in the second round. They won that game by 12 points, 85-73.

They ended the regular season with a 27-4 record overall, tied with Auburn, and they closed out conference play with a 14-4 record, just one game behind the Tigers. Their last three games of March were all big wins against former No. 12 Texas A&M and No. 7 Alabama.

With them securing a top-four seed in the conference, they earned a double-bye in the tournament, which makes this their first game in the quarterfinals. They have a dynamic backcourt duo in Walter Clayton Jr and Alijah Martin. Clayton Jr leads the team, averaging 17.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game.
