With both teams coming off games just two nights ago, Central Oklahoma gears up to host Missouri Western State at Hamilton Field House in Edmond on Saturday afternoon. After falling on the road to Rogers State two nights ago, Missouri Western State will look to get back on track in Edmond this weekend. The Griffons are 15-8 overall with a 6-6 conference record and a 5-3 pace on the road this season. Central Oklahoma, on the other hand, is coming off a win that improved their overall record to 13-9 with a 7-6 conference record and a 10-3 record at home. This will be the 23rd all-time meeting between these two schools, with the Griffons winning a 57-56 thriller last January.

Most recently, Missouri Western State fell on the road to Rogers State by a final score of 74-54 in Claremore on Thursday night. The Griffons cut a 20-point deficit down to 12 points in the second half, but couldn’t get any closer. Justin Bubak led the Griffons with 12 points in the loss. 

As for Central Oklahoma, UCO earned a 82-55 victory over Northwest Missouri at Hamilton Field House on Thursday night. Central Oklahoma finished one steal shy of a school record, with a suffocating defense forcing 23 steals in the win. Jordan Thompson led the Bronchos with 16 points.

Central Oklahoma looks to build on its win when it hosts Missouri Western State on Saturday.
