Montana goes for its second straght win on Saturday night when it takes on rival Montana State

The Montana Grizzlies continue a four-game home stand on Saturday night when it takes on the Montana State Bobcats. The Grizzlies come into Saturday fresh off a big 72-67 win over Idaho on Thusday night nad it improved their record to 12-8 overall and 5-2 in the Big Sky. The Grizzlies avoided a second straight loss with the win nad the yhvae now won five of their last seven games. One of their conference losses did come at home, but that is the only loss on their own court this season. The Grizzlies have been led by Malik Moore, Money Williams and Joe Pridgen this season. All three of them are averaging in double figures in points. Moore leads the way with 13.6 points per game. Pridgen is leading the team with 7.8 rebounds per game while also scoring 12.0 points per game.

The Bobcats will look to slow down the trio on Saturday night as they try and win a third straight game.

The Bobcats beat Weber State on the road on Saturday and then came back home and picked up a 74-64 win over Eastern Washington on Monday night.

The two straight wins has pushed their record to 8-12 overall and 3-4 in the Big Sky. They have now won three of ther last four games after losing six in a row.

They are playing better, but their offense is still going to have to play better on Saturday night if they want to upset the Grizzlies. The Bobcats are averaging just 71.9 points per game as a team. Brandon Walker is leading hte way at 15.3 points per game.
