    Thomas Sorber and Georgetown will take the court against Dallas Hobbs and Mount St. Mary’s on Wednesday night in college basketball.

    Mount St. Mary’s will travel to Washington, D.C., on Wednesday night in the middle of the third week of the regular season in men’s college basketball. There, they will meet up with Georgetown and play at the Capital One Arena. The Hoyas are 2-1 through the first two weeks of the season. They opened their season with an 85-77 win over Lehigh, led by Thomas Sorber, the true freshman, who had 20 points and 13 rebounds. The first weekend, they stayed at Capital One Arena and welcomed Fairfield in a game that they won by just 12 points.

    After starting 2-0, they lost their only game last week, dropping a 21-point loss to Notre Dame at home. Malik Mack led the team with 16 points in his first season with the team after transferring in from Harvard.

    The Mountaineers are 3-1 through their first two weeks, with two games each week. They took down Notre Dame (MD) at home by 36 points in their first game. Dallas Hobbs led the team with 17 points and five assists. Later that week, they lost on the road in Maryland by 34 points. Hobbs had 21 points and three rebounds in the loss.

    They were able to get wins in both games last week, beating Bucknell by four points at the end of double overtime. Jedy Cordilia had 22 points in the win. Last weekend, they went back home and beat St. Francis. In the eight-point win, Terrell Ard Jr. led the team with 12 points, while Dola Adebayo had 10 points and 13 rebounds.
