Air Force will look to break a 12-game losing streak on Tuesday night with a home game against Nevada in college basketball.

The Nevada Wolf Pack will head to Colorado on Tuesday for a Mountain West matchup in college basketball against the Air Force Falcons at Clune Arena. The Falcons are currently in last place in the Mountain West standings at 0-11 in conference play and 3-19 overall. The team’s most recent game was played against San Jose State on the road this past weekend and resulted in a tough 75-64 defeat, the team’s 12th loss in a row. Despite five Falcons finishing in double figures, led by Ethan Taylor’s 15-point performance, the team still came up short to the Spartans. Kyle Marshall earned a double-double in the loss with a game-high 12 rebounds to go along with 10 points.

The Wolf Pack are currently in seventh place in the Mountain West standings with a conference record of 4-7 and an overall record of 12-10. Over the weekend, the team broke a three-game losing streak with a 71-65 win over in-state rival UNLV at home in front of 11,000 fans. Nick Davidson led all scorers with 14 points, while three other members of the Wolf Pack joined him in double figures. He also led on the boards, pulling down six rebounds in the win. The team finished the game shooting 45 percent from the field and 85 percent from the free throw line, but could still use some work on its long range shooting, as the Wolf Pack only sank four three-pointers on 19 attempts.

Air Force and Nevada have met a total of 26 times in their history and Nevada holds a commanding 22-4 lead in the series. The teams already met once this season and the game went in favor of the Wolf Pack with a 68-62 win at home.
