New Mexico hits the road for a matchup against UNLV at the Thomas & Mack Center on Saturday. Watch free on Fubo.

With the visitors having a terrific season heading into a Mountain West matchup this weekend, New Mexico heads to the Thomas & Mack Center to play UNLV on Saturday afternoon. The Lobos are having one of their best seasons in recent memory with an outstanding 16-4 overall record and a 8-1 pace in conference play. New Mexico has won 11 of its 16 games at home, though, and will now look to improve on a more modest 3-2 road record. The Rebels, on the other hand, saw their two-game winning streak snapped by Wyoming earlier this week. UNLV is now 11-8 overall with a 5-3 conference record and a 9-2 mark at home. Last season, UNLV pulled off an upset over then-ranked New Mexico in a 80-77 victory last February.

Most recently, New Mexico improved to 8-1 in conference play with a 95-67 victory over Fresno State on Monday afternoon. This is just the second time in school history that the Lobos are 8-1 in conference play, with Donovan Dent leading New Mexico with a team-high 20 points and nine assists. 

As for UNLV, the Rebels fell in a close one to Wyoming by a final score of 63-61 in Las Vegas on Tuesday night. Dedan Thomas Jr. led the Rebels offense with 17 points while Jaden Henley scored 15 points and Jalen Hill added 10 points in the loss. 

New Mexico looks to stay hot when it visits conference foe UNLV on Saturday.
