Since last weekend, they have played two games. They went on the road to No. 8 Michigan State and lost by two points, 80-78, despite a 19-point game-high performance from Will Riley. Earlier this week on Thursday, they took on Maryland at home and lost by 21 points. Kasparas Jakucionis, a stellar freshman, led the team with 21 points on 5-of-14 shooting in that loss. They will look to snap this losing streak here today.

The Northwestern Wildcats will head on the road with a 12-7 record overall. After finishing their non-conference schedule in November and December with a 9-2 record, they have since gone 3-5 against conference teams, tied with Ohio State, and five games back from the top conference team.

Northwestern lost last weekend by four points on the road against No. 20-ranked Michigan. Brooks Barnhizer had 21 points on 5-of-14 shooting, while Matthew Nicholson pulled down 16 rebounds in the loss. On Wednesday, Northwestern got back in the win column with a nine-point win over Indiana. Ty Berry led the game with 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting.
