The Kansas State Wildcats will welcome the Oklahoma State Cowboys to Bramlage Coliseum on Wednesday night as the teams square off in a Big 12 contest as the second half of college basketball regular season continues. The Wildcats are currently in 15th place in the Big 12 standings with a conference record of 2-6 and an overall record of 8-11 so far. The team broke a six-game losing streak on Saturday with a 73-60 win over West Virginia at home. Dug Mcdaniel led the Kansas State offense by scoring 15 points in the win, while David N’guessan finished right behind him with a 14-point performance. The team collectively shot 47 percent from the field and 35 percent from beyond the arc while holding the Mountaineers to a shooting percentage of 36 from the field and just 19 percent from long range.

The Cowboys are just above the Wildcats in the conference standings and are also 2-6 against Big 12 opponents while carrying an overall record of 10-9 into Wednesday night’s game. The team has dropped its last two games with the most recent being a 64-54 loss to Texas Tech. The Cowboys fell behind early in the game and were trailing by 10 by the time halftime rolled around. Bryce Thompson led the offensive efforts for Oklahoma State with 17 points, but struggled from long range, only sinking one three-pointer in the loss.
