The Oklahoma State Cowboys hit the road for a second straight game on Sunday afternoon when they play the Seton Hall Pirates. The Cowboys come into Saturday fresh off a big 76-55 win over Tulsa on Wednesday night and they are now 5-2 on the season. It was the first true road game for the Cowboys and they got a much-needed win after losing two of three coming into that game. The Cowboys have been balanced this year as 10 guys are averaging at least 12 minutes a game and three players are scoring in double figures. Marchelus Avery leads the way with 13.0 points per game, while Bryce Thompson and Abou Ousmane are averaging 12.6 and 12.2 points per game respectively. Ousmane is the team’s leading rebounder at 5.5 per game.

The Pirates will look to slow down the trio as they try and win a second straight game and defend their home court. The Pirates avoided a second straight loss on Wednesday night when they beat NJIT 67-56. They struggled with the Highlanders but were able to secure the win.
They now sit a 5-4, but they have suffered upset losses to Fordham, Hofstra and Monmouth already this season. They have yet to beat a major conference opponent as they fell to Vanderbilt 76-60 earlier this season.
The Pirates have had a tough time on offense this season as they are averaging just 58.3 points per game as a team and haven’t scored in the 70s yet this season.
