They opened the season at home in Philadelphia on Michael J. Hagan ’85 Arena against Navy, pulling out a seven-point win. Erik Reynolds II, a senior in his fourth season with the team, led Saint Joseph’s with 29 points on 9-of-17 shooting and five rebounds.

Later in that first week, it welcomed Central Connecticut to its home gym, where it lost by six points, 73-67. Rasheer Fleming led the team with 19 points and 16 rebounds in a monstrous performance. Earlier this week, in its first game in the Big 5 Classic, Saint Joseph’s took down Villanova 83-76. Fleming once again had 19 points, while Xzayvier Brown had 18 points, six rebounds, and 13 assists.

Dylan Williams led the team with 17 points in his first season with the team. Ethan Roberts also had 15 points and three rebounds. They went back home in their second game later in the first week, beating MD Eastern by three points.

Roberts led that game with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists. Nick Spinoso had 11 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. In their last game, they went on the road and lost by two points to Lafayette. Roberts had 14 points, six rebounds, and seven assists in the loss, while four of the five starters finished in double figures.
