How to Watch Stanford vs CSUN: Stream Men’s College Basketball Live, TV Channel

Stanford tries to bounce back from a tough buzzer-beater when they host California State Northridge on Tuesday in the NIT.

Stanford will host Cal State Northridge on Tuesday night in the first round of the NIT. The tournament home game will give the Cardinal a boost and also a -6.5-point line to beat the Matadors. But Cal State Northridge shouldn’t be taken for granted as it finished the season third in the Big West Conference standings only sitting behind UC San Diego and UC Irvine. The Matadors (22-10) have a better record than the Cardinal (20-13) but the difficult stat to overcome tonight is how good Stanford is at home this season with a 16-2 record.

Stanford is coming off a tough exit from the ACC Tournament where it lost to No. 13 Louisville on a last second shot to drop in the quarterfinal 75-73. Chucky Hepburn had a putback jumper at the buzzer in a very back-and-forth game against the Cardinal on Thursday. The ending overshadowed Oziyah Sellers stellar night as he led Stanford with 22 points. Stanford shot at an impressive 42.3 percent from behind the arc and eventually got up 52-37 in the second half where it looked like they were pulling away. Chisom Okpara hit a game-tying three for Stanford. Terrence Edwards scored 25 points to lead the game and he shot a three at the end of the game that missed but Hepburn was right there to dash Stanford’s ACC hopes.

Cal State Northridge is coming off a close 78-72 loss against UC Santa Barbara in the quarterfinal of the Big West Championship Tournament on Thursday. The Matadors briefly led in the first half but were playing catch up the rest of the game. Keonte Jones led the Matadors with 19 points. CSUN shot form 45.5 percent from the field but struggled from three dropping to 26.7 percent. The Matadors will need a lot more offense if they’re going to pull off this in-state upset.
