Trazarien White and TCU will face off against Jizzle James and Cincinnati in a Big 12 contest on Saturday.

This weekend, TCU will travel to Cincinnati, Ohio, for a men’s college basketball battle against two Big 12 Conference schools. On Saturday, it will face off against Cincinnati at the Fifth Third Center. The Cincinnati Bearcats are 15-11 overall this season. They started out hot in the first two months with a 10-1 non-conference schedule. However, their move to the Big 12 has proved burdensome as they are just 5-10 against teams in the conference. They are tied with Oklahoma State and three games behind their opponent today.

They picked up another pair of losses over the last seven days as well. They lost to former No. 10 ranked Iowa State by 11 points last Saturday and, on Wednesday, lost on the road to West Virginia by three points. Jizzle James leads Cincinnati in scoring this season, averaging 12.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game as a sophomore guard.

The TCU Horned Frogs are also 15-11 overall this season; however, their conference record in the Big 12 is a lot better. They are 8-7 and the No. 8 team in the Big 12. They are tied with Baylor and No. 23 Kansas while sitting one game behind BYU. They are also six games behind the conference-leading No. 5 ranked Houston.

They will bring some momentum into this game as they picked up two wins in the last seven days to go from under to over the .500 mark in the conference. They beat Arizona State by four points on the road before heading home to beat No. 9 Texas Tech in a massive upset on Tuesday, 69-66. Trazarien White led the team in scoring in the upset with 16 points.
