They opened up February last week with a huge win at home over No. 5 ranked Florida, a team that beat them by 30 earlier in the year. In the 64-44 win, Chaz Lanier dropped a team-high 19 points on 6-of-14 shooting in a game-high performance. They used that momentum into the middle of the week when they took down No. 15-ranked Missouri at home by four points. Igor Milicic Jr led the team with 21 points and 10 rebounds in that win.

The Oklahoma Sooners are 16-6 overall this season. They also finished their non-conference schedule with an undefeated record at 13-0; however, they have lost six of their nine games in SEC play thus far. At 3-6, they are tied with Arkansas and just three games over the last-placed South Carolina. They are also 2.5 games behind their opponent today.

Last weekend, they took their home court in Norman and beat former No. 24-ranked Vanderbilt by 30 points, led by 21 points from Jeremiah Fears. He also led the team with four assists. Earlier this week, they went on the road to the nation’s best team and lost by 28 points. Dayton Forsythe led the team with 13 points in the loss.
