The No. 2-seeded Tennessee will take the court at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, against the No. 1-seeded Houston in the Midwest Regional final in the NCAA Tournament with a chance at a Final Four berth on the line. The No. 2-seeded Volunteers will head into this game with a 30-7 record this season, opening the NCAA Tournament up with a matchup against No. 15-seeded Wofford. Chaz Lanier, the team’s leading scorer, dropped 29 points on 11-of-22 shooting in the win. They advanced to the second round to take on No. 7-seeded UCLA just two days later.

Their Sweet 16 game on Friday featured a battle against No. 4 Purdue. They won the game 62-60 on a beautifully drawn-up inbounds pass with just a second left as Uzan scored the game-winning shot.
